Chris Grimes
Chris Grimes is at 1991 Graduate of North Carolina State University, the President of Martin County Insurance, Williamston, NC, and a minister at Saint’s Delight Church of Christ, Roper, NC.
He also is the Senior Vice President and Chaplain for the NC Society, Sons of the American Revolution and Chapter President and Chaplain at the Albemarle Chapter, NC Society, Sons of the American Revolution.
Chris is a living Historian/Reenactor with a focus on Revolutionary and American Civil War medicine, navy and artillery. While his reenacting career started in 2000, Chris Grimes’ journey in the world of historic medicine began in 2009 with The Detached Hospital, an American Revolution medical reenacting group. As he traveled this new and fascinating road, it struck him that while we have made many advances during the last two centuries in the areas of anesthesia, germ theory, blood typing and antibiotics, many things haven’t changed. Major medicines today are actually descendants of centuries-old remedies. Surgical procedures and the instruments associated with them remain unchanged. He grew to realize that medical care is something that touches everyone, both young and old.
The Bobblehead George crew is honored to count Dr. Grimes as one of our friends!
Tim Law of Playing It Forward Coaching
Tim Law of Playing It Forward Coaching has been a good friend of the Bobblehead George crew for over two decades! The Playing it Forward Coaching System is divided into 16 easy to listen to coaching modules of 5-10 minutes each. The total time it will take you to listen to these is only two hours and they will absolutely accelerate your learning curve, give you several “aha” ideas and, or, validate what you are already doing. The program can be started and stopped however you wish to fit your schedule.
In one of his YouTube Shorts, Tim interviewed Eric Gimbi and David Raymond of Bobblehad George! You can watch the video HERE.
